Who can nominate and vote?
Any person, who has the right to vote, can promote a candidate proposal for the Department Board Election within their own group. Employees who hold at least half-time positions at the Department have the right to vote.
Candidate proposals for temporary academic staff must be handed in to the Election Committee, Yngvar Reichelt, reichelt@math.uio.no, by November 24th at 12.00.
Candidate proposals must be signed by at least as many people as the number of candidates in the proposal. For each candidate, a presentation of up to one A4 page must be included. The presentations will be made electronically accessible on the Departments homepage.
Execution of the election
The election period for temporary academic staff is one year.
For temporary academic staff a claim of gender balance prevails.
The election of Department Board members will be executed as an electronic election. The election of employee members will be executed as an election of preference.
