Lunch and Dinner

Lunches will be provided in Frederikke Spiseri. There is a buffet with a variety of options available.

The conference dinner will take place on Wednesday at 6 pm in Aymara, about a 10 minute walk from the T-bane station Nationaltheatret.

Wifi

The default wifi access at the University of Oslo is through Eduroam. If you do not have an Eduroam account, contact one of the organisers and we can set up a temporary account for you.

How to get here

To and from the airport: There is frequent train service between the city (Oslo S or Nationaltheatret) and the airport (Oslo lufthavn). Check ruter.no for the schedule. The trains labeled FLY are express trains and slightly more expensive. Tickets can be bought at the airport, or via the Ruter App (regular trains), respectively via flytoget.no (express trains).

Public transport: To get around in Oslo during the conference, you will need a ticket for Zone 1. A weekly ticket is likely the best option. You can buy tickets at a kiosk (7-Eleven, Narvesen), or directly over the Ruter App.

The Blindern campus is easily reached either by tram or T-bane (metro).

Via tram: Take lines 17 or 18 to Universitetet Blindern.
Via T-bane: Take lines 4 or 5 to Blindern.

Then follow the map below to Vilhelm Bjerknes' Hus. The talks will happen in Auditorium 1 in the ground floor. A more detailed map is here.
