Arrival in Bergen

There is a bus service from the airport in Bergen (Flesland) directly to the pier where the ship "Finnmarken" is docked (Noestegaten 30).These buses leave Flesland on the hour starting at noon, i.e. at 12:00, 13:00,14:00,etc. There are signs at Flesland airport with information about these buses taking you to the "Hurtigruten" terminal. The price of a bus ticket is 170 NOK (Norwegian kroner) pr. person.

Alternatively, especially if you arrive early, you can take the bus "Flybussen, Bergen Sentrum" to city centre. This leaves every 15 minutes from Flesland. The price is 100 NOK. You should get off Flybussen at (Radisson Blu) Hotel Norge in downtown Bergen. There is a 10 minutes walk to the pier where "Finnmarken" is docked (see the map), or you can take a taxi from Hotel Norge.

There are lockers at the pier where you can store luggage in case you want to do some sightseeing in Bergen. There will be personnel from the Hurtigruten Company at the pier from 13:00 helping passengers. Regular in-checking starts at 15:00 and one can board the ship at 16:00--the cafe, bar and stores onboard open at the same time.  Cabins are guaranteed ready at 18:00.
