Getting from/to the airport
The most convenient way to get from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Oslo Central Station is by train. You can either take a local train operated by Vy or the Flytoget express train. The latter is not really much faster, but runs more often. Tickets for both of these trains can be bought from the machines of the respective companies at the airport.
Accommodation
Invited speakers will stay at Comfort Hotel Karl Johan, address Karl Johans gt. 12, 0154 Oslo. The accommodated participants will stay either at the mentioned hotel or at Comfort Hotel Grand Central, address Jernbanetorget 1, 0154 Oslo. You will have received a booking confirmation for the specific hotel. If you are unsure, contact Ulrik Enstad. Both hotels are a short walk from Oslo Central Station.
Location and public transport
The workshop is located at the University of Oslo, campus Blindern, in the buildings Niels Henrik Abels Hus and Vilhelm Bjerknes Hus. The best way to reach Blindern from Comfort Hotel Karl Johan is to take the metro from Jernbanetorget. Both lines 4 and 5 westbound go to Blindern. Tickets can not bought on the metro and there are no machines at the stations to buy them either. It is probably most convenient to buy electronic tickets via the smartphone app Ruter. Alternatively they can be bought physically at the kiosks Narvesen and 7-Eleven.
