Jordy Timo van Velthoven: Density conditions with stabilisers for coherent states using von Neumann algebras

C*-algebra seminar by Jordy Timo van Velthoven (University of Vienna)

Abstract: I will outline an approach towards sharp density inequalities
for the completeness and frame property of lattice orbits of Bergman
kernels. These estimates improve on general density theorems for
coherent state systems through their dependence on the chosen vector.
The approach is based on group von Neumann algebras and Hilbert modules.
The talk is based on joint work with M. Caspers.
