Registration: Is required for participation; link to the registration form can be found in the menu.
Date and location: The conference starts on Thursday, September 12 and ends on Friday, September 13. The conference will take place at Soria Moria Hotel, Voksenkollveien 60, 0790 Oslo.
Accommodation: Participants traveling from outside the Oslo area will have their accommodation at Soria Moria Hotel covered from Thursday (September 12) to Friday (September 13). Participants from the Oslo area, as well as those requesting additional accommodation from Wednesday (September 11) to Thursday, will need to wait for confirmation by email. Due to limited capacity, priority will be given to those traveling from a long distance. The decision regarding who will receive accommodation will be communicated after the registration deadline in June.
Travel: Participants from UiT, NTNU, and UiB will have their travel expenses covered by their respective university's local TMS project. For these participants, the following applies: tickets to Oslo must be booked individually (in accordance with your university's regulations), and travel expenses are reimbursed afterwards by your local university.
Participants from other institutions may, if needed, apply to have their travel expenses covered by a TMS-grant - please contact us.
Between Oslo Airport and Oslo S, the airport express train (240 NOK) departs every ten minutes, and regional trains (124 NOK) depart every half hour. From the metro (aka T-bane) stop Jernbanetorget at Oslo S you can take line 1 Frognerseteren to Voksenkollen; from there, it is around 800 meters up Voksenkollveien to reach Soria Moria Hotel.
Note: Regional trains and public transport in Oslo use the Ruter app, which must be downloaded to your phone (alternatively, tickets can be purchased at Oslo Airport). Travel between Oslo Airport and Oslo S requires the purchase of a ticket for zones 1, 2Ø, 3Ø, and 4N, while travel between Oslo S and Soria Moria only requires a ticket for zone 1.
A taxi trip between Oslo Airport and Soria Moria Hotel costs 1200-1600 NOK.
Conference Dinner: A conference dinner will be held on Thursday, September 12 at Soria Moria Hotel. Allergies and preferences should be specified in the registration form.
