I am a Chemist (B.S. , MSc.) and a Physicist (MSc.) by training. As a PhD candidate in the Statistics and Data Science section, I will focus on expanding and improving the application of state-of-the-art Bayesian Inference methods in the context of spatio-temporal data. Alongside my academic studies, I also work as a Researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) in the Department of Methods Development and Analytics. In this role, I contribute to various aspects, including the implementation, optimization, and calibration of Infectious Disease Models as well as providing support in data analysis and modeling in the context of environmental epidemiology.
