Finite Element Exterior Calculus is a subject related to structure preserving discretizations of partial differential equations that has been developed over the last 10 - 15 years. Here in Oslo both Snorre Christiansen and I have given key contributions to this development, and in 2013 I was awarded an ERC advanced grant for a project with the same title as this talk. The purpose here will be to explain some of problems we plan to study as a part of this project.
