Noncommutative geometry and quantum groups

The conference is funded by Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (formerly Oslo University College), the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Science Foundation. It will be hosted by Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, which is located downtown Oslo, and will start on Monday morning on June 11 and conclude in the early afternoon on Friday, June 15, 2012.

Main speakers: T. Banica, L. Dabrowski, R. Meyer, H. Moscovici, R. Nest, L. Vainerman, A. Van Daele, C. Voigt, S.L. Woronowicz.

If you are interested in participating, please complete the registration form within April 30, 2012. (Registration is now closed !). The conference fee of 500 NOK (around 65 euros) is to be paid upon arrival. An excursion to Bygdøy will be arranged Wednesday June 13. The conference dinner will be held Thursday June 14. Please note that guests will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation. June is by far the busiest month in Oslo, so it is strongly recommended to book rooms as early as possible. Booking a room in Oslo in June at a late stage will most probably be impossible, or at best very expensive.

Financial support will unfortunately be rather limited and available only in exceptional cases. The preference will be given to PhD students. If you need financial support, please, indicate this in the registration form and the organizers will contact you.

Feel free to contact Erik Bedos or Sergey Neshveyev with any further questions or comments.
