Risør is a popular tourist place. The surrounding area includes many small lakes and hills, and is known for its beautiful coastline as well. The conference hotel is located on the pier in Risør's cultural-historical center.

In view of the conference, a special deal was negotiated with the hotel. This consists in accommodation plus all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at NOK 1355 per person per night (approx. EUR 140). Accompanying persons will be charged NOK 850 per person per day (this includes breakfast, lunch and dinner) plus NOK 350 for the conference dinner on Thursday. Additional governmental taxes and local fees may occur.
