The following software listing is not definitive, use

module avail

to get the most up to date information. This also only covers the local module additions to the default software offered by Red Hat Enterprise Linux. To load a specific module for your current shell, use

module load modulename/moduleversion

Compilers

Multiple versions of the Gnu Compiler Collection (GCC) are available. The Intel compiler suite is also available but has had long-standing issues with concurrent licenses at UiO. If you require the Intel compilers for your work, please let send us an email about your requirements.

Software

Several pieces of scientific software is available only as modules.  Python/anaconda provides scientific Linux, multiple versions of Eclipse offers rich IDEs for multiple environments, and multiple versions of FEniCS is provided for use.  Thinlink is also offered in this fashion.
