Olivier Galland got best keynote presentation award

Research Professor Olivier Galland from Njord was awarded with the Best Keynote presentation on “Magmatism and Petroleum Systems” at the CONEXPLO conference in Argentina.

This is a petroleum-related conference and about 1000 participants was attending 8 -11th of November 2022. It is an achievement to foreigners and academics to get this award in a petroleum-related conference, and in general they do reward contributions that have a significant industrial value.

Galland states that the initial motivation of the work he presented was purely academic and recognized of high academic standard (partly funded by FRIPRO project DIPS), but his group managed to make it relevant for industry.
