Katharina holds a MSc Geology with focus on Sedimentology, University of Innsbruck, Austria.
As a PhD Research Fellow at the Njord Center her research will focus on the volcanic and igneous plumbing system at the Oslo rift in Norway. Also its controlling mechanism and evolution by combining ground-based and UAV-based structural mapping, petrological analytical techniques and geophysical methods.
She is passionate about planet Earth and finding new ways in combining different research disciplines to gain a wide and complete perspective on geological issues.
