Development and Optimization of Imaging Tools for Visualization of Genomic Loci

Every year in August and January we arrange REAL undervisning and REAL teaching as a kick-start of the semester with focus on teaching and learning. 

The value creation potential in the health industry has received increased attention in Norway, and reports over the past five years show significant growth. We bring together the actors along the health industry value chain to discuss how we can realise even more of the potential for value creation in this sector.

Verdiskapingspotensialet i helsenæringen har fått økt oppmerksomhet i Norge, og rapporter over de siste fem årene viser en betydelig vekst. Vi bringer sammen aktørene langs helsenæringens verdikjede for å diskutere hvordan vi kan ta ut enda mer av potensialet for verdiskaping som ligger i denne sektoren.

Gjennom utdanning former universitetene Norges fremtid. Realfag er nøkkelen til bærekraftig kunnskap, teknologi og nye arbeidsplasser. Hvordan oppfyller akademia samfunnets forventninger og behov for grønn utvikling? Vi diskuterer mulighetsrommet under seminaret.

The event consists of short lectures followed by a conversation between the lecturers. The event is held in Norwegian.

Arrangementet vil bestå av en rekke korte foredrag og avsluttes med en samtale mellom foredragsholderne. Denne samtalen vil fokusere på bruk og misbruk av genetisk teori og metoder, og dermed belyse både tverrfaglig forskning og etiske betraktninger.

Alle snakker om livslang læring, men hvor får næringslivet egentlig best og mest relevant kompetansepåfyll? På de store universitetene i Norge eller er det mer attraktivt med faglig påfyll fra andre aktører i utlandet? 

Har egentlig politikerne lagt til rette for at norsk næringsliv skal bruke de norske utdanningsinstitusjonene til etter- og videreutdanning?

In connection with Gregor Mendel's 200 year anniversary, there will be an event that includes lectures, a guided tour of the Marine Research Station Drøbak and dinner. The lectures covers Gregor Mendel and his contributions to science, the geneticist Kristine Bonnevie, modern genetics and genomics and more. Registration is necessary. The event is held in Norwegian.

I år er det 200 år siden Gregor Mendel (1822–1884), den moderne genetikkens far, ble født. Arrangementet inkluderer foredrag om Mendel og hans bidrag til vitenskapen, genetikeren Kristine Bonnevie, moderne genetikk og genomikk med mer. Påmelding er nødvendig.
