Welcome to the conference on Stochastics of Environmental and Financial Economics. The conference will bring together leading researchers in the fields of stochastic analysis and finance to discuss recent developments and challenges with an edge towards energy, environmental and financial markets.

The conference is organized by the Center of Advanced Studies (CAS), Stochastics of Environmental and Financial Economics. Scientific organizers: Fred Espen Benth and Giulia Di Nunno (UiO).

Welcome to the Abel Symposium 2014 in Lofoten. The symposium will bring researchers together to discuss statistical analysis for high-dimensional data.

The symposium is a follow-up of two highly successful previous symposia, held 14-15 October 2008 in the Norwegian Academy in Oslo and 1-2 November 2010 in RSE in Edinburgh. Topics of this year's symposium include: internal waves, ocean surface waves and tsunamis reflecting the activities in the current research projects of the Norwegian and Scottish groups.

Den første nordiske vårskole i logikk arrangeres av Scandinavian Logic Society og Matematisk institutt ved Universitetet i Oslo.

Passwords^12 holdes på IfI 3.-5. desember 2012. Dette er den eneste konferansen i verden som kun fokuserer på passord og PIN-koder i alle slags former og størrelser.

The Norwegian Sequence Centre, in collaboration with the Computational Life Science initiative, is pleased to announce a Boot Camp organised by Software Carpentry on September 17-18, at the University of Oslo (Blindern campus). See below for details.

The International Conference on Field Programmable Logic and Applications (FPL) is taking place at IFI 29-31 August 2012. This is a large international scientific conference where the ROBIN group is the local organiser. About 230 attendees are expected. Feel free to register and attend. Workshops/tutorials before and after are free to attend (except SRCS) but registration is needed.

Programmet inkluderer oppdaterte innlegg fra forskere, organisasjoner, det offentlige, næringsliv og sluttbrukere innen både solvarme- og solstrøm.

Norges Geologiske Undersøkelse (NGU) informerer om sin organisasjon og sine pågående (og fremtidige?) prosjekter med 3 presentasjoner. Etter hvert foredrag er det avsatt tid til diskusjon og spørsmål.

ETOX is short for European Workshop on Bacterial Protein Toxins, and represents a series of conferences (approximately biannual) presenting state-of-the-art research in the field.
