He is interested in the evolution of Archaean cratons and specifically Palaeoarchaean greenstone successions of the Singhbhum, Kaapvaal and Pilbara cratons. His research at PHAB is focussed on the topics related to the diversity recorded in the earliest microbial communities, primitive oceans, habitable conditions in the sub-surface environments and event deposits during the Archaean times. Prior to UiO, Jaganmoy was a post-doctoral researcher based at the Evolutionary Studies Institute, University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
