She is part of the Mars Sample Return Analogue Sample Library project and aims to understand processes recorded at Jezero crater, particularly shock metamorphism and subsequent aqueous alteration. For this, she plans to study terrestrial mafic impactites and produce experimental analogs. Prior to joining PHAB, Marine focused on shocked meteorites, their geochronology and geochemistry to uncover their history and origin.
