I love playing detective: I am interested in how the solar system formed and evolved, and how Earth came to be the only planet that harbours life. I run numerical simulations of planet formation and evolution and I combine this with isotopic and chronological data from laboratory experiments on extraterrestrial samples to piece together the history of our planetary system.
