This meeting is an opportunity for knowing everyone else in our community. We will take the route of round-the-table, where everyone will have ~ 2 min to share with everyone else their thematic research areas and plans for this semester. Announcements like a published paper, submitted preprint, upcoming conference etc are also common.
- Since there are many new incoming PhD students, postdocs and engineers in the community, it would be an opportunity to present yourselves to others - and also to learn if any others are working on related topics to find synergies.
- Keeping the new incoming members in mind, everyone is encouraged to assume that we are presenting ourselves to new audience.
