The demonstration (top picture) shows a DC output from 9 thermoelectric modules (3-in-series x 3-in-parallel, bottom picture) powering up 20 LEDs in a scenario of waste heat produced by a factory. The voltage drop between hot and cold sides of thermoelectric modules is 1.6 V.
