User responsibilities for The Goldschmidt Laboratory

Access to the Goldschmidt Lab facilities is subjected to the acceptance of the following conditions:

  • Comply with local health and safety regulations.
  • Follow instructions given by the laboratory personnel regarding the use of the facility.
  • Discuss in the early stage of the project if publications based on the data acquired in the Goldschmidt Lab will or will not be joint publications with host staff members, depending on the level of technical and scientific support required on-site and during data processing.
  • Ensure that peer-reviewed publication(s) resulting from the data acquired in the Goldschmidt Lab will be made available open access.
  • Acknowledge the use of the Goldschmidt Lab infrastructures in publications by adding the following text or equivalent to the Acknowledgments section:
    • The Research Council of Norway is acknowledged for support to the Goldschmidt Laboratory national infrastructure (project number 295894)”.
  • Submit a scientific report of the work done at the Goldschmidt Lab (max 2 pages, including 1-2 figures) and will include reference to where the work is/will be published. Supervisors of master students are responsible for the submission of the report related to the work conducted by the student. The reports will not be uploaded onto the website, and will be for internal use only.
