The objective is to quantify the current mass budget of each glacier and to provide input data for modeling future changes in mass balance and dynamic response. Measurements will include mass balance, meteorology, ice surface and bed topography (needed both modeling and ice flux estimates), ice temperature, and glacier velocity. Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) will be used as model input, and to determine glacier volume changes.
